Iona Presentation College in Mosman Park is looking to the future

As part of Mosman Parks' local community for over a century, Iona Presentation College is looking to make positive changes for the school and it's students whilst involving the local community to ensure a continued symbiotic relationship.

EIW Architects are proud to be part of this upgrade and will provide a modern and functional facility complimenting the school's 'green space'.

Mrs Anne Pitos, Principal of the College, says in an interview with The Post "while many of our current buildings have served us well, a significant number no longer meet the requirements of modern teaching and learning". (The Post- David Hudlestone. P.10 & 100- 23rd August 2014)

Moving to a more student focused way of teaching and away from a more traditional format requires a vastly different learning space, which has been the main focus for the master plan concept.

The two stage project will include replacement of existing buildings with a four-storey teaching centre at the centre of the grounds. It will include visual arts, a cafeteria, library, learning suites, staff community room and extra parking. The second stage of the build  involves a performing arts centre that will include a multipurpose auditorium, basement parking, music, drama and dance areas.
