'Settings For Learning Relationships' in Copenhagen

Philip Idle yesterday presented to 130 Scandinavian delegates at the Nohr-Con 'School Buildings of the Future' conference in Copenhagen. Providing a background to the planning and design of new and refurbished Australian schools. Philip focused on the theme 'Settings For Learning Relationships' outlining how he believes the last 10 years has evolved from being technology focused and having an impact on facility design, back towards a better understanding of how all modes of learning relationships can be enhanced through better designed learning environments.

"Danish schools seem to be struggling with similar issues in the refurbishment of old and new school buildings in trying to provide for more collaborative learning models. Their high quality of design prowess is evident in the 4 schools I visited and there are certainly some lessons learned which I can bring back for EIW's ongoing clientele and our ongoing commitment of 'building ideas' ", he reported.

A blog report and video interview conducted with Philip will be available upon his return next week.
